They are possibly daughters of a sibling of Charlie or Minnie, but could be anyone.

Identification: none.

Date: 1913-1922
(Lafler's years in business in Prinvillle, Oregon, according to the library.)

No handwriting was on the front or back of this photograph.

Original photo measures 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches and is in a 9 3/8 x 6 1/8 inch tri-fold cardboard folder.

What Else We Know

Charles HINTON had 8 brothers, some of which we know had daughters.

Minnie NORTH had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Links to the NORTH family genealogy, several works in progress, are listed on the Links Page of this web site.

Our Reasoning

We assume these two girls are sisters...but, of course, we can't be positive of that.

We are not aware of anyone from our North or Oliver families that lived in the Prineville, Oregon, area, but that possibility does exist.

John Hinton married Lula Eads (1923 in Vale, Oregon), and her families, Eads and Miller, are known to have been in central Oregon. This photo could be from either the Miller or Eads family collection.

These girls may be from the lost Hinton clan. To read a summary of what little we know about our Hinton line and families see the section entitled "9 Hinton Sons" on Hinton Hideout.
